Something happened. There was a moment when me and everything else swapped places. How did I know it had happened? Well, I became the chair and the chair became me. I became the clock and the clock became me. I became the cactus and the cactus became me. And I watched my old self from an infinity of angles, only for an instant. Before I knew it, I was back in my own skin, wondering if I'd ever really been away.

The moment passed. But I had. Of course I had. The chair knew it. The clock knew it. The cactus knew it.
